Summary: This article chose books about cats as a theme to show how specific books can be used to teach literature. When children are interested in the literature chosen, they also are able to increase their reading comprehension. Summary: There were mass evacuation of Jews from many towns but the story of the Jews in Denmark is not always told. The author gives a fictionalized account of a true story through the eyes of a 10 year old and how her family helped her best friendââ¬â¢s family out of the country. Summary: This book was a delightful look at a variety of issues in using childrenââ¬â¢s literature. It provided the reader with ideas that could be used to identify childrenââ¬â¢s literature with a global picture.
